Our organization would like to have the ability to use dashes in the 'phone number' field instead of just the long string of numbers.

We just launched the ability to create a 'Phone' Custom field. Within that, you'll be able to chose the country format that you want for the Phone numbers and it'll automatically add the dashes in between the numbers. :)
