It is more useful to see the total of Active Members and the periodic value (by year or month depending on how the memberships run) of active memberships. That's good planning information. Most importantly, we need to know the context of the metric being displayed, if we have to guess at whether it is all or active then it isn't useable information. For example, is membership sales all sales ever? is it for a year? is it the periodic value of active memberships? If it doesn't say, then I don't know how to use the metric.
